Weight Loss Challenge Retrospective Week 10-12

Weight Loss Challenge Retrospective Week 10-12

This is the last weight loss challenge retrospective week 10-12. It marks a very important day in this blog’s history and my life – it’s the end of my first 3-month challenge and it’s a beginning for a new one. Due to this challenge, I have changed not even physically and lost weight, but also mentally. I’m more prepared to push myself out of my comfort zone, I have more stuff to talk about and I have got you – my audience. If you haven’t read the previous retrospective, please do. It was the last one with all the greens.

Good News

Let’s start with my holiday. I marked the days where I was away as holiday in the table. They ended up becoming red, because the spreadsheet didn’t know how to compare this word to the projected weight. Either way, it probably would have ended up being red anyway. I gladly enjoyed the holiday itself and a bit different food too. However, the food was not right for my diet. Furthermore, I ate fewer times, which meant I had to eat more in one go and my body hates that. Nevertheless, it was my holiday, so what a heck. As you will see in the table below, I have almost got back into my pre-holiday weight zone.Weight Week 10-12

I also gained about 2kg over that week and it would seem to be a lot. Worry no more! I will tell you a secret – the day you stop being on a diet and let yourself loose a bit more – I mean keeping your lifestyle healthy, but no more strict rules – you will gain back 2kg. That’s expected and you should not worry at all. It will stay there and won’t go up anymore as long as you will keep your lifestyle healthy. I will talk about healthy lifestyle later on, but this challenge was more about losing weight than keeping it where it is.

Bad News

The bad news is that I had my week worth of holiday and didn’t stay on my diet for the whole period of time. It disturbed my challenge and I lost the whole week of losing weight and another one for getting back to pre-holiday weight. If it was a preparation for the championship, I would not have taken my holiday – that’s a rule number one. However, this is a lose weight naturally 3-month challenge and if I showed you just the harsh version of it, you wouldn’t go for it. Only the small part of people losing weight are the ones who prepare for the championships. I’m targeting this challenge for the rest. I want you to lose weight too, without too much pressure and too much interference to your normal lifestyle.

Conclusion

As I told you already, this is the last weight loss challenge retrospective week 10-12. No more retrospectives on this challenge. It was demanding, but not too challenging for myself. I cannot speak for the others. I understand that every challenge takes you up the bum and pushes you out of your comfort zone. But that’s what I love about them. I hate them till the last minute, but it’s such a joy when it ends. I couldn’t be happier after all this is gone. Then a month later, I start to miss it, the pressure, the out-of-the-box thinking, the change in lifestyle and do it again. The loop continues. And if I don’t have any for a month or two – I stop living, stop pushing myself forward, stop fighting and will eventually die.

I also want to show you the pictures of myself, so you would see how I changed over the last few weeks. Hopefully, it will show you what can be done without putting too much pressure onto yourself.
